Pet of the Week
Meet Hugo Boss!
Sex: Male, neutered
Age: Young adult, 1 year old
Description: Medium-hair, black and smokey
Health: Excellent!
Hugo Boss just recently celebrated his first birthday in foster care and he continues to surprise us with just how much his confidence has blossomed! What was once a cautious, hide-in-the-background kitten is now coming out to greet visitors and making sure his people know he’s there.
He’s also a lap-sitter! He may not always be directly in your lap, but he’s usually touching you somehow. If he’s not curled up beside you, he’s finding another point of contact. He’s typically stretched out on his human’s feet, because apparently maximum personal space is approximately zero inches.
He loves curling up close at night and keeping you on schedule in the morning (breakfast is very important, after all). He’s a world-class window watcher, observing birds and the outside world like a thoughtful little philosopher. And while he may resemble a cozy little potato, don’t be fooled because when playtime hits, Hugo can get some serious air with his high jumps!
He would do well with other pets who respect his space and would thrive in a home with an older couple or a single person who’s around often and enjoys a gentle, affectionate companion.
Hugo is proving to be the perfect combination of cautious curiosity and quiet affection. He’s not necessarily the cat who demands the spotlight, but once he trusts you, he wants to be near you. And honestly, that’s pretty special.
Hugo Boss is the kind of cat whose personality unfolds in the most rewarding way, by earning your trust, then greeting you at the door, ready with love. Hugo is neutered and vaccinated. He is indoor only and has tested negative for FeLV/FIV. The adoption fee is $125.
If you are interested in adopting, you can download our Adoption Application here; OR if you might even consider becoming a temporary foster caregiver, we would be excited (and pay all the bills!). You can email us your completed application and any questions to info@oswegohumane.org!
